Select the installer relevent to your operating system and version. If multiple versions are listed, in general you should select the highest version number. The installer is the OpenAFS.pkg inside the .dmg file. Most users do not need the optional OpenAFS-debug-extension.pkg
If you don't yet have an account on the Dartmouth RStor system, this installer isn't going to be very much use. See Information on accounts and Account request form
Unless otherwise stated, these installers are directly copied from OpenAFS.org, but are copied here for convenience. There may be some locally customized versions stored here in addition. New versions are added to this list as they are released, and after Computing Services has tested them locally.
For installation instructions, please see www.dartmouth.edu/comp/soft-comp/datastorage/afs/
Mac-afssetup.zip is a collection of scripts for Mac (all versions 10.4+) to tune the configuration after the installer is finished, and create convenience shortcuts to your AFS volumes. It is highly recommended, but not required. It also contains tools to start and stop the AFS client manually.
OSX 10.10 (Yosemite) - please contact Research Computing for assistance.
OSX 10.11 (El Capitan) does NOT YET HAVE AN OpenAFS INSTALLER. We recommend that you refrain from updating if access to RStor is a requirement for you.
